Dear residents,
Since the election, I have spoken about the need to prepare for the impacts of new federal policies on the District of Columbia. But now I’d like to hear from you.
I would like to invite you to engage with me on the challenges upon us in the age of Trump. Faced with slimmer federal budgets and increased federal interference, how do we provide quality education, foster welcoming and safe communities, deliver vital health and social services, protect human rights, and promote the arts and humanities?
Please join me Monday, July 10, 2017 at Columbia Heights Education Campus from 6pm-8pm to engage in a community forum on these issues. I hope to hear your concerns to better inform my work representing every D.C. resident on the Council.
You can sign up below. RSVP is not required to make your voice heard.
I look forward to seeing you and discussing the issues that affect us all.
