Chairman Phil Mendelson and Councilmember David Grosso announce the scheduling of the Budget Oversight Hearing on District of Columbia Public Schools and the Deputy Mayor for Education. The hearing will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in Hearing Room 412 of the John A. Wilson Building.
While this hearing is limited to oral testimony from invited witnesses, written statements from the public will be made a part of the official record. Copies of written statements should be submitted by email to Ashley Strange, astrange@dccouncil.us, or by post to the Committee on Education, Council of the District of Columbia, Suite 116 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004. The record will close two business days following the conclusion of each respective hearing. Persons submitting written statements for the record should observe this deadline.
