On January 29, the Office of the State Superintendent released final analysis of DCPS high schools’ attendance and graduation outcomes as conducted by by Alvarez & Marsal.
On January 16, the Office of the State Superintendent released an interim report, Analysis of Attendance and Graduation Outcomes at Public High Schools in DC. The report contains: A review of attendance and graduation in public schools in DC; a review of the Public Charter School Board’s graduation policies and procedures; and an interim report on the audit and investigation of Ballou High School.

The Committee on Education invites the public to review the report and provide comments using the form below. On February 8, 2018 the Committee will reconvene the public roundtable that began on December 15, 2017 to publicly review the findings of the Chancellor’s internal report on DCPS high schools and OSSE’s independent investigation. A link will be forthcoming for the public to sign up to testify.
